#密码资产动态追踪 Zcash ecosystem experiences a major upheaval, and practitioners are once again witnessing a "palace intrigue" about faith and governance.

The incident began with the collective resignation of Electric Coin Company (ECC). This core team, which once led project development, encountered serious disagreements with management. CEO Josh Swihart was very straightforward: "The work environment prevents us from operating efficiently, let alone maintaining an honest stance."

It is worth noting that this split is not a collapse at the protocol level. ECC plans to start anew, with a new company continuing to push forward with the original team, and has also released a new wallet product, CashZ, targeting a broader range of applications.

The response from the other side (Bootstrap) focuses on compliance. They claim that the disagreement stems from legal risk assessments, especially concerns about the privatization direction of Zashi wallet, rather than a fundamental conflict of mission within the protocol itself. This "each has their own reasons" situation instead highlights the tug-of-war between the ideals of decentralization and practical governance in crypto projects.

Capital markets have sensed this atmosphere. The ZEC price has experienced a rollercoaster: initially plunging 22%, then rebounding 10 amid new developments. Bullish sentiment is rekindled, but some are pondering—where will this split ultimately lead?

This internal turmoil within Zcash perhaps also reflects the eternal dilemma faced by the entire ecosystem between scalability and governance.

It's another power struggle, essentially a question of who will take the helm. Did those ECC folks turn against each other? Not surprising; rebranding centralization still makes it centralization.

Another round of accusations: "We are for regulations, you are for freedom"... The ZEC split this time is like a palace drama, yet the market still seems to buy it? A 22% plunge and it's over—feels to me like this is just the beginning.

It's the same story again. Decentralized projects ultimately can't escape power struggles... The recent moves with ZEC are indeed a bit awkward.

It's another case of "everyone has their own reasoning." Sell on the rebound; there's always a lower point waiting.

Another power struggle, huh? But this time, the ZEC split seems a bit superficial... What compliance risks? Honestly, it's all about money and influence.

It's another game of power. ZEC really underperformed this time. Compliance vs. idealism is a never-ending struggle.
