Stablecoin payments infrastructure player Rain just closed a substantial $250 million funding round, pushing its valuation to an impressive $1.95 billion. The financing demonstrates growing institutional confidence in blockchain-based payment solutions, particularly as stablecoins continue gaining traction for cross-border transactions and settlement use cases. Rain's latest capital injection reflects the broader shift toward digital payment rails in the crypto ecosystem, where traditional finance and Web3 are increasingly converging. The funding milestone underscores how vital liquidity and payment layer infrastructure has become for the maturing Web3 landscape.

Stablecoin infrastructure is indeed gradually maturing, but the key still depends on ROI and the speed of practical implementation. A financing scale of 2.5 billion USD is not small, but the problem is that the profit cycle for this type of payment layer projects is often seriously overestimated.

Another round of funding news, and what is "institutional confidence"... I just want to know when this 25 billion can support the next wave of liquidation.
