Another AI infrastructure project is here. An exchange announced that on the evening of January 9th at 19:00 (UTC+8), DeepNode (DN) will be officially launched, along with the simultaneous opening of the DN/USDT trading pair.

What is this project about? DeepNode is positioned as a decentralized AI infrastructure network platform, aiming to enable developers, validators, miners, and enterprises to collaborate more easily, jointly build and deploy AI models through the network, and ultimately achieve commercialization and monetization across multiple industry scenarios.

Its highlight lies in its consensus mechanism design—adopting a self-developed Proof of Relevance (PoWR) mechanism. This mechanism is somewhat different; it rewards network participants based on actual utility rather than speculative behavior. In other words, only those who genuinely contribute to the network can receive more incentives, rather than simply relying on mining power. This approach is still relatively rare among current AI token projects.

The PoWR mechanism sounds good, but whether it can actually be implemented is another matter... Projects like this all say the same, but in the end, they just get dumped by big investors.
