Simply closing your MetaMask wallet won't automatically close your open perpetual futures positions. Your perps keep running in the background even after you disconnect. You need to manually exit those positions on the exchange itself—don't assume they're canceled just because you logged out. This is a critical risk management point that catches many traders off guard.
