Ethereum core developer Tim Beiko recently revealed a change in his career plans. Over the past few months, he has planned to shift his focus from core development to application development, while ensuring a smooth transition within the AllCoreDevs team and managing responsibilities related to the Ethereum Foundation.

Tim Beiko believes that the Ethereum protocol has reached a mature stage, but we are only just beginning to explore its true potential. He is very right — the permissionless, scalable, economically secure, low-cost verifiable world computer can do much more than what we see today.

He wants to delve into a question: what are the things that can "only" be done on Ethereum? In other words, how can we maximize the unique features of Ethereum rather than blindly stacking features? This shift in thinking is quite interesting — from refining the underlying protocol to contemplating "what can we do with this."
