#美国贸易赤字状况 $BTC Interesting, over the past few years in the crypto world, I've seen too many stories of people chasing gains and then panicking and selling.

$ETH Steady growth is the right way to make money in the long run.

$ZEC I have a close veteran player friend who initially invested 200,000 yuan, and now his market value has reached 42 million. During a casual chat, he said something very insightful:

In the crypto world, honestly, participants are all over the place, but as long as you can control your greed, this place becomes a printing press.

Thinking of this, I realize that the money I’ve made in crypto assets over the years actually comes from a few seemingly simple methods:

**First Trick: Don’t chase small profits, and don’t lose big**

Many people fall into a vicious cycle — either they get caught because of greed, or they miss opportunities by being too conservative. They sell after a 5% increase, only to see the market double; they stubbornly hold on without taking profits, and end up giving all the gains back. People who swing like this spend their whole lives in regret.

**Second Trick: Only invest in mainstream coins with solid fundamentals**

Never gamble on new coins, and don’t blindly buy the dip in a downtrend. Wait until the price has fallen to the bottom and no one dares to buy, then try a small position. It sounds conservative, but it allows you to survive longer.

**Third Trick: Add to your position after trend signals confirm**

There’s no need to think about catching the absolute bottom every day. Even if you buy a little higher, it’s better than being trapped halfway up the mountain. When others are in fierce competition, I wait for clear rebound signals, then gradually add on dips.

**Fourth Trick: Take profits in stages**

Whenever a wave of gains comes, take out your initial capital plus half of the profits. Let the rest fluctuate as it may; the core gains are already in your pocket.

Last year, I helped a sister who lost over 600,000 yuan. Using this logic, in half a year, she not only recovered her losses but also had enough to buy a new car.

Honestly:

There are quite a few smart people in crypto, but what’s really lacking are the “fools” who can control their desires and stick to discipline.

When everyone around is chasing high and selling low, if you can stay calm and follow the big cycle, you often can pick up the chips others are throwing away.

One path is to keep using “smart tricks,” which might end up making you doubt yourself after losses; the other is to use this “foolish method,” slowly accumulating and earning with confidence.

Which one to choose depends on yourself.

That's really impressive. Controlling desires is easier to say than to do.

Really, greed is like a terminal illness in the crypto world. I've seen too many stories of people losing everything because they tried to take an extra 5%.

Really, controlling desires is more valuable than anything else. I've seen too many people who are too clever end up being fooled by their own intelligence.

There's nothing wrong with that; the key is to hold back. I've seen too many people start fantasizing after a single limit-up, only to get caught and become trapped. $BTC $ETH These two old-timers are actually the most stable; even blind dollar-cost averaging can make a profit.
