Recently, while tracking projects in the decentralized storage space, a new protocol caught my attention. Speaking of which, the expansion of Web3 in recent years has been quite rapid—on-chain data, NFT resources, AI training datasets, all growing exponentially. But here’s the problem: traditional storage solutions are starting to fall behind in terms of cost, speed, and scalability.

The core logic of this protocol is quite interesting. Unlike typical decentralized storage that simply "stores data," it emphasizes the usability, security, and composability of data within the on-chain ecosystem. This is a major pain point for application ecosystems like DeFi, NFT, and GameFi—storing data is one thing, but the key is to be able to use it efficiently.

From a technical perspective, it adopts innovative data sharding and verification schemes. This approach maintains decentralization and security while significantly improving data read/write efficiency. Why do developers welcome this? Because the biggest bottleneck in deploying Web3 applications is often high-frequency calls and large-scale data interactions. Now, with this kind of "data foundation," the development experience can be greatly enhanced.

On the token side, $WAL incentivizes nodes to provide storage and computing services, while also playing a role in network security and governance. This design gives participants direct incentives to benefit, encouraging nodes to actively maintain network quality in order to earn rewards. The entire economic model forms a tight closed loop: users pay for network usage, nodes earn returns from services, creating a sustainable incentive system.
