Ordinary people know and understand cycles,

mostly because of Mr. Zhou Jintao’s statement, “Success in life depends on Kondratiev waves,”

The book “Tao’s Cycle Theory” mentions: for those over 40,

their first opportunity in life was in 2008,

if they bought stocks,

or houses,

their lives would be very successful.

The last life opportunity before 2008 was in 1999,

not many people aged 40 seized that chance,

so 2008 was the first opportunity,

the second opportunity was in 2019,

the last one around 2030,

if you can seize one, you can become middle class,

this is the principle that success in life depends on Kondratiev waves.

In fact, cycles are also a way of thinking,

whether in investment,

career,

or life,

we should all develop cyclical thinking,

stay sensitive to cycles,

cultivate our sense of “position,”

combine it with our actual needs,

and make the right choices that leverage the power of cycles

without being harmed by them.

Among the factors that form cycles,

human psychology and behavior play a very large role,

we need to accomplish three main tasks: identify where we are in the cycle,

assess the future trend of the cycle, and make strategic arrangements accordingly.

When people are in an economic uptrend,

they are more likely to succeed,

but they often forget the principle that “full moon wanes.”

And “when the moon is full, it wanes;”

water overflowing is an unchanging law,

these recurring patterns are what we call “cycles.”

In life,

it seems that just catching one wave of opportunity

can change destiny.

And the underlying logic of all this

is to understand cycles,

follow the cycles,

and adjust ourselves.
