The Guardian investigation reports that Fasial Tariq, a British entrepreneur who launched the crypto projects Paradox Coin / Paradox Metaverse, is alleged to have connections with an illegal weight-loss drug manufacturing and distribution network in Northampton. The network was raided by the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in October 2025. The scale of the case has been described as one of the largest in the world, but no arrests have been made so far. The report notes that the aforementioned crypto projects had previously been questioned by crypto investigators such as Coffeezilla. MHRA stated that the investigation is still ongoing.
