After the Trubit protocol was hacked, all 8,535 ETH stolen (worth approximately $26.44 million) have been fully transferred to privacy mixing services. This large transfer of funds marks the beginning of the attacker anonymizing the stolen assets. The incident once again reminds the community that even audited protocols face ongoing security threats. On-chain security monitoring data shows that rapid fund transfers after large-scale thefts have become standard procedures for hackers, sounding an alarm for the security of funds in the DeFi ecosystem.
