🔄 On January 8, following another recalculation, Bitcoin mining difficulty fell by 1.2% to 146.47 T. Meanwhile, the average hashrate remained above 1 ZH/s.

The hashrate remains relatively low, at around $38 per PH/s per day. However, shortly before the difficulty reduction, miner profitability surpassed $40 for the first time since November 2025.

Bitcoin has been in a tight local flat for 24 hours now, as if the market is frozen before a move. We often see a sharp impulse in the second half of Sunday, and today seems to be no exception
