Walrus is a brilliant name. Do storage solutions have to be this cute? Haha. The Sui ecosystem has gained a handy new tool. With 5x redundancy, stability is guaranteed, and the cost is indeed attractive. Can data be refunded after deletion? This operation is quite rare in on-chain storage solutions. Kudos to the designer. NFT platforms and AI model library developers will probably love this; it halves the entry barrier. When GamFi scales up, will storage costs become a bottleneck? Can Walrus handle it? It mainly depends on whether Sui can really take off. Otherwise, no matter how good the ecosystem tools are, they’re useless. Walrus's design idea is pretty good; the storage fee refund is indeed a clever little trick. Just realized that no one has properly addressed on-chain storage for so long.
