Looking at $POL's recent gains, I still regret my decision to short. But honestly, this coin is not unfamiliar to many veteran investors — after all, its predecessor was a horseshoe.
In my opinion, this rebranding was actually quite a failure. It used to attract a group of people through nostalgia, but now that it has changed its name, fewer and fewer people know about it. The market enthusiasm is clearly not as strong as before, and even new investors don't know its past and present. The cognitive cost brought by this rebranding often means missed opportunities in the crypto market.

Being short got slapped in the face, I should have anticipated and laid in wait earlier.
Renaming this thing is indeed ridiculous. Newbies have no idea what's going on, and with the hype gone, the opportunity is gone too.
Wait, isn't this just cognitive arbitrage? Those who understand can actually buy the dip.

Being short-squeezed really backfired, and the renaming thing was a complete mess, causing the hype to plummet
They should have kept the name "Horseshoe," sentimental value is priceless
Newcomers have no idea what this is at all, the cognitive cost is through the roof

The renaming of Ma Ti to POL really caused a stir. The sentiment is gone, and newcomers don't recognize it anymore. We've taken a big loss this time.
Getting short-squeezed is one thing, but honestly, the cognitive cost here is really a trap.
Just rename it if you want, why does the popularity keep decreasing with each change... what's going on?
Old investors now find this coin boring; the novelty is completely gone.
It's outrageous. The once sentimental coin has been forcibly erased.

Oh no, the renaming of Ma Ti is indeed a bit awkward.
Changing it actually made no one know about it, this move is really disappointing.
I should have just stayed out of the short position; now watching the increase in price is really uncomfortable.
Even seasoned investors can't recognize it, let alone newcomers. The cognitive cost is really high.
The passion is gone, the hype is gone, all that's left is regret.
