Regarding the rumors about a certain APP changing its name, I have a different opinion. Product naming doesn't change just because you want it to.
Looking at it from another perspective: after the team determines the core direction, the name and LOGO are the final visual identifiers to be finalized. There are definitely more than one candidate—since they thought of Option A, how could the design team overlook Option B? These options have long been listed and repeatedly discussed.
The final chosen name is backed by the consensus of the entire team. It involves brand positioning, user perception, and market research, and is not decided casually. If they really change the name, it would mean overturning previous decisions and rebuilding brand assets—such a cost is too high. So I believe they won't change it.

Alright, I've heard too many stories about renaming, but logically, it really can't be changed.

Hey, it's not something you can change just like that. This guy's analysis is actually quite reasonable.

Haha, changing your name? Dream on. Who dares to do it with such a high cost?

Well, there's nothing wrong with this logic. The cost of renaming is right there.

Hmm, this logic does hold up... but I just want to ask, what if users really go ballistic? Changing the name becomes a whole different story.

The logic is this, but I still think there might be room for change. It depends on who is in power.
Whether to change the name or not depends on funding and pressure; no matter how solid the logic, it can't withstand capital.
Team consensus? Ha, that thing is too valuable and often can't stand the test.
The cost of changing the name is indeed high, but the cost of having an awkward name might be even greater.
This analysis is a bit over the top; reality is often not so particular.
