Security risks are frequently emerging in the crypto investment circle. Recently in France, there have been multiple malicious incidents targeting crypto practitioners—last Friday in Verneuil-sur-Seine, a senior executive of a crypto fund and their family were attacked, beaten, and tied up by three masked assailants at their residence. Fortunately, the victims escaped and sought help from neighbors in time, and the perpetrators fled the scene. Just the day before, a similar incident occurred in Saint-Léger-sous-Cholet, where a local crypto investor was kidnapped, beaten, and abandoned. These "smash-and-grab" attacks (violent robberies targeting individuals or small organizations) have been frequently reported in the European crypto community in recent years, reflecting that as industry wealth concentrates, personal safety has become a new risk point. For high-net-worth crypto industry practitioners, strengthening personal and family protection and reducing information exposure has become an essential task.

France's recent wave of violent robberies really can't be contained anymore, directly targeting homes...

Is this really happening over in France? It seems a bit exaggerated... --- Wow, wrench attacks are so rampant now? Gotta stay low profile. --- Why is it so easy for victims to be targeted? Is there an insider? --- Now I understand why big players are so cautious; defenses are overwhelming. --- Having more money actually makes you a target, ironic. --- European crypto circles definitely need to improve security awareness; we can't be careless. --- Family safety is really important; just protecting yourself isn't enough. --- Feels more and more like a gangster movie plot... this is already reality. --- Invisible millionaires are the smart players. --- Can this really be prevented? Seems like the cost of protection is too high.

France is really outrageous, the wrench attacks are getting crazier... Large holdings should stay low-key, really. That's why I never show off wealth on social media, I’ve already got the excuses ready. Why is the situation in Europe so severe? Security protection costs probably need to be included in operating expenses. It seems like hiring bodyguards is the only way to live like a rich person, it's too frightening. You have to teach your family to recognize people and not reveal wealth. The crypto world is really unsafe these days.
