The depth of Chinese memes is indeed gradually emerging. But to be honest, continuing down this path is quite costly, and whether it's worth it depends on how you weigh the pros and cons.

ngl, the cultural substrate is there but the unit economics on this feel... questionable. like sure, we're seeing adoption curves inflect, but what's the actual moat? content production at scale is brutal capital-wise, and most projects just don't have the protocol sustainability angle figured out yet. still worth watching tho.

Burning money to create memes? Ha, it's just another self-improvement course for the retail investors, and in the end, it's still a Ponzi scheme trapping and exploiting investors.

Burning money is one thing, but whether you can create something is the real test.

Burning money is one thing, but the momentum of this wave of cultural export cannot be stopped.

Burning money, to put it simply, is about ROI. The Chinese meme community has accumulated quite a bit of genuine content, but monetizing the ecosystem is difficult.
