Recently, I experienced quite a few pitfalls while trying to earn some rewards on a certain blockchain trading platform, and I want to share my experience with everyone.
Yesterday, I used the platform's exchange feature to swap USDT for BNB, only to be charged a sponsorship fee of 4.27U and Gas fees. I was a bit stunned at the time. I thought, how long would I need to hold on in a bear market to break even? But did I learn my lesson this morning? No. I used USDC to buy Aster for spot trading, and I was charged another 3U in Gas fees.
After two consecutive days, just the transaction fees alone totaled over seven dollars, and my gains were completely eaten up. It seems that the cost of "farming" on the chain isn't low, especially for small transactions where the fees are even more painful proportionally. These costs are quite important for retail investors participating in airdrops and testing.

Bro, your transaction fee is a huge loss, over seven bucks just gone. How are you supposed to profit like this?

Bro, that's why I only watch now and don't trade. The transaction fees are killing me.

The 7 yuan fee is gone, this profit margin is really unbeatable.

The gas fees are so outrageous I really can't take it anymore. Over seven dollars gone just because of two transactions?
