The Vietnam Stablecoin Payment Experiment Concludes: This Test Provides the Answer

Over 30 days, across 5 cities, with a total of 106 QR code payments—an on-the-ground survey on whether stablecoins can truly become part of daily life has recently been completed in Vietnam.

This is not just simple data collection but an attempt to answer a long-standing question in the crypto industry: Can stablecoins break through the "last mile" of payments? Can they become mainstream everyday payment tools like Alipay and WeChat Pay? Can they evolve into a globally accepted standard payment method?

The significance of this Vietnam experiment lies in its use of real transaction scenarios and genuine user feedback to verify the feasibility of transitioning stablecoins from theory to practice. Payment scenarios are often the easiest area for blockchain technology to be implemented, and Vietnam, as an active region for cryptocurrencies in Southeast Asia, has become an ideal stage for this experiment.
