IMF WARNS EUROPE MUST "SELF-REVISE" IF IT WANTS TO COMPETE WITH THE US

🔹 The Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva sends a very direct message to Europe that quick and decisive action is needed to regain global competitiveness and influence.

🔹 She believes Europe is falling behind in productivity, innovation, and the ability to help small businesses grow into large corporations.

🔹 President Trump uses tariffs as a tool to exert pressure because he sees Europe no longer strong enough to negotiate as before.

🔹 The IMF emphasizes that Europe has plenty of money and resources but is poorly utilized, with hundreds of billions of euros saved flowing into US investments.

🔹 Ms. Georgieva highlights four immediate actions Europe needs to take: complete the common capital market, unify the energy system, facilitate labor mobility within the EU, and increase investment in research and innovation.

🔹 The core message is that if Europe does not reform quickly and practically, it will continue to be overshadowed by the US and other major powers both economically and geopolitically.
