Global pension funds collectively reduce holdings of U.S. Treasuries, signaling fiscal risk in the United States

【CoinPush】Recently, there is an interesting signal in the financial markets—large European pension funds are starting to collectively reduce their holdings of U.S. Treasuries.

Sweden’s largest pension fund, Alecta, is leading the way, directly selling off the majority of its U.S. debt holdings. The scale of this transaction is significant, amounting to 70 to 80 billion SEK, equivalent to 7.7 to 8.8 billion USD. Alecta’s reason for the move is: rising risks in the U.S. policy environment and too much uncertainty.

This is not an isolated event. Soon after, Denmark’s pension fund Akademiker Pension also followed suit. They announced the sale of about 1 billion USD worth of U.S. Treasuries, with similar concerns—doubts about the long-term sustainability of U.S. fiscal policy, coupled with credit risks caused by unclear policy directions.

Institutions like pension funds are typically risk-averse investors, and their actions often reflect genuine market concerns. What does the coordinated move by these two funds in the short term indicate? The uncertainty in U.S. policy is becoming a real risk in the eyes of global institutional investors. For traders focused on macroeconomics, this could be a market signal worth paying attention to.

U.S. Treasuries being abandoned, major European funds collectively fleeing? This signal can't be ignored --- What does this move indicate... Risk-averse institutions are starting to let go, it definitely has some implications --- 77 to 88 billion USD just dumped like that, the underlying anxiety is definitely not unfounded --- Wait, with unclear policies + fiscal concerns, can U.S. Treasuries remain stable later on? --- Pension funds are fleeing, so are ordinary investors still bottom-fishing? This game is getting interesting --- Wow, even Sweden and Denmark are starting to withdraw, is a big event about to happen? --- Basically, it means U.S. risk is rising, and institutions have sensed it --- As expected, large institutions can always perceive something in advance, while retail investors can only follow behind --- What’s going on with U.S. Treasuries... Is there really some movement coming? --- Rising policy environment risk, this phrase just sounds ominous

I totally agree. Institutions like pension funds are starting to run away, and US bonds are really cooling off. The policies here in the US are a mess. Who would dare to still hold US bonds now? Wait, does this mean I should also consider reducing my US bond holdings? Major European funds are all selling off. What are we waiting for here? Basically, it’s a loss of confidence in the long-term prospects of the US, and the signals are quite clear. This is getting interesting. The safe-haven status of US bonds is also beginning to collapse. I bet US bonds will still fall this year. Anyone still buying now is just being foolish.

US debt warning of collapse, pension funds have fled, now America must be panicking Even pension funds are starting to sell off, indicating the situation is serious... But this wave really can make money The US debt hole, it will be filled sooner or later, investors are still sleepwalking I just want to know, when US debt really collapses, will the coins in our hands also take off Pension funds dare to move, indicating they have already calculated the accounts, retail investors are still buying haha Isn't this telling us to allocate more to cryptocurrencies US debt plummeting is just a matter of time, those who are prepared now should be smiling happily European funds are fleeing, who will be next?

This wave of US debt is really starting to become unsustainable, even pension funds are beginning to run away. The generals have sensed the risk, and those actions by the Federal Reserve indeed give a sense of insecurity. So in the end, do we still have to rely on on-chain assets as a safety net?

U.S. bonds are starting to lose value, even pension funds are no longer interested... This is getting interesting. Even European funds are fleeing, which indicates there really is a problem, not just a false alarm. Who would still dare to take on this mess in the U.S.? Smart people have seen through this move; it's time to withdraw if needed.
