After 8 years of exploring in the crypto market, I finally accumulated enough capital to comfortably relax. To be honest, there are no innate secrets or insider tips, nor is it something you win by luck. The reason I’m still here is because of a set of principles that many have laughed at as being too simple—trading discipline.

This approach isn’t particularly mysterious; it holds up in any market cycle. The core can be summarized in six points.

**First: Diversification of funds is the foundation of compound interest**

Divide your capital into 5 parts for trading, with a single trade loss limit set at 10%, and keep total single-trade losses within 2%. The benefit is clear—even if you make 5 mistakes in a row, your account only retraces 10%. When a genuine trend emerges, it’s enough to recover all the trial-and-error costs. Stability first, then compound growth.

**Second: Only eat the trend’s meat, don’t guess the market’s mind**

Don’t blindly buy the dip during a decline, and don’t rush to take profits during an uptrend. The real money-making opportunities usually appear after the trend has become clear. Be patient and let the market tell you the direction—much faster than guessing.

**Third: Avoid coins that surge wildly, live rationally longer**

Whether it’s mainstream coins or altcoins, short-term explosive rises are often traps, not opportunities. Once a coin’s gains start to deviate from normal ranges, the smartest move is to walk away. Those who do so have already outperformed most trend chasers.

**Fourth: Indicators are tools, not beliefs**

Take MACD as an example: a bullish crossover below the zero line can be a signal to position, while a death cross above the zero line warns to reduce holdings. The key detail is: add to positions only when in profit; if you increase your position while still losing, it’s emotional trading. This bottom line must be maintained—it’s crucial for blocking emotional interference.

**Fifth: Volume reflects the market’s true intentions**

A volume breakout at a low point often signals the real start of a bull run. Also, pay attention to the directions of the 3-day, 30-day, 84-day, and 120-day moving averages—only participate in assets that have formed a bullish alignment. It sounds simple, but in reality, it’s about letting the data speak.

**Sixth: Review and refine your trading mind**

After each trade, review it: Was the buy logic valid? Where did mistakes happen? Has the weekly trend changed? True experts don’t make money by prediction; they do it through continuous review, correction, and execution—constantly honing their trading system.

This set of principles doesn’t sound complicated, and the methodology isn’t hard to understand. The hard part is that very few can stick to this discipline long-term. But ultimately, the market rewards those who stay clear-headed amid noise and maintain rhythm through volatility. They may not be the fastest, but they are definitely the most stable.

It sounds like motivational talk, but he's really speaking the truth—it's just so hard to keep going.

Sounds good, but what I fear the most is execution... It's easy to talk about, but really implementing it is extremely difficult.

Lying flat after eight years, how much patience does that take? I'm afraid I won't be able to hold on for three months and will start messing around haha

It makes sense, but execution is the real hell.
