The Turkish president says the Middle East is experiencing the "most painful period in a century."

On March 26, People’s Daily reported that on the 26th local time, Turkish President Erdoğan delivered a speech in Ankara, warning about the current escalating regional situation. Erdoğan pointed out that the war launched against Iran is plunging the region into “blood and smoke,” and the Middle East is experiencing “the most painful moments in nearly a century.” In his speech, Erdoğan specifically named the Netanyahu government. He accused Israel not only of targeting Iran but also of systematically implementing plans to invade Lebanon. He particularly mentioned that innocent children are encountering missile attacks at schools, and this behavior is utterly immoral. (CCTV News)
