On March 27, People’s Finance News reported that the State Administration of Foreign Exchange released the 2025 China Balance of Payments Report. The report mentioned that looking ahead to 2026, there are many external instability and uncertainty factors. The global economy is expected to grow moderately but also faces certain downward pressure. There is significant uncertainty in global trade policies, which affects the stable development of international economic and trade activities. Geopolitical risks are rising, and fluctuations in international financial markets may increase. Our country will firmly promote high-quality development, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern, implement a more proactive macro policy, further expand high-level openness, continuously prevent and resolve risks in key areas, and promote effective qualitative improvement and reasonable quantitative growth of the economy, with the balance of payments conditionally maintaining basic equilibrium.
