Arbitrum has urgently frozen 30,766 ETH ($71M) held on Arbitrum One related to the Kelp DAO hack.
This ETH was transferred into a locked intermediary wallet. From now on, the hacker has lost access, and only the Arbitrum governance community can decide what to do with this money.
Arbitrum stated that they have coordinated with law enforcement and identified the hacker's identity. They also conducted thorough reviews to ensure no other users or applications on the chain are affected.
The hacker still holds 75,700 ETH ($175M) after this freeze.
