NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal reaches a settlement with FTX investors.
According to Gate.io News bot, CoinDesk reported that former NBA star Shaquille O'Neal has reached a settlement agreement with investors regarding the FTX spokesperson-related lawsuit. Previously, investors filed a class action lawsuit against several celebrities and former executives, including O'Neal, accusing them of assisting FTX in committing fraud, with claims amounting to $21 billion.
In 2023, Trevor Lawrence and six other defendants have completed the first round of settlement, with a settlement amount of $1.4 million. Notably, O'Neal previously paid $11 million in settlement for promoting the NFT project Astral. Currently, the specific settlement amount between O'Neal and FTX investors has not been disclosed.
