Based on regular check-ups conducted in mid-April, the Emperor was diagnosed with a high probability of myocardial ischemia. As for the length of hospitalization, the Imperial Household Agency stated that it will depend on the results of the examination. This is the Emperor's second hospitalization since undergoing coronary artery bypass surgery in 2012.
