ChainCatcher news, artificial intelligence company Anthropic announced that it has recently completed a new round of financing totaling $13 billion, with a valuation skyrocketing to $183 billion. This financing, which far exceeded expectations, makes it one of the highest valued startups in the world. This round of financing was led by Iconiq Capital, with Fidelity Management and Research, Lightspeed Venture Partners participating, along with Singapore GIC, Insight Partners, and the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA). According to previous reports, Anthropic's initial goal was to raise $5 billion, which was later raised to $10 billion, ultimately reaching $13 billion. In a statement on Tuesday, Anthropic said this investment “validates the unprecedented rise of Anthropic and solidifies our leadership position as the preferred intelligent platform for enterprises, developers, and high-end users.”
