Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that the company will collaborate with the video platform Rumble to expand the use of the USAT stablecoin, a newly launched digital currency dedicated to the America market. According to him, Rumble – with over 51 million active users monthly – will soon launch a cryptocurrency wallet built on Tether's technology by the end of this year.

This move comes after Tether invested 775 million USD in Rumble last year, thereby holding about 48% of the shares of this social media platform. USAT, issued by Tether last month, is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, aimed at strengthening its position in the domestic market and operating alongside USDT – currently the largest stablecoin globally with a supply of 174.6 billion USD.

In addition, Tether is also expanding into areas beyond cryptocurrency, including telecommunications and energy infrastructure. Bloomberg reported that Tether is negotiating to raise up to 20 billion USD with a valuation of 500 billion USD. Ardoino revealed that the long-term goal is to deploy 100,000–150,000 kiosks in Africa by 2030, contributing to the economy linked to USDT and the dollar in the region.
