Recognizing the value of for-profit initiatives in accelerating ecosystem adoption, DFINITY is supporting ventures that can drive large-scale usage of the network. The first of these is Caffeine, a platform that enables users to build apps, websites, and enterprise systems on the Internet Computer by interacting with AI using natural language and non-technical documents.

Caffeine operates like a startup, iterating rapidly on user experience and monetization features. Williams expects it to significantly increase app creation on the Internet Computer, potentially surpassing other Web3 ecosystems in developer activity. Additional ventures, including UTOPIA for private cloud networks and a stealth project called Convo, are planned to further expand ecosystem usage and generate compute cycles on the network.
