BTC (Bitcoin) fell 2.09% in the last 24 hours.
Gate News Bot news, on November 18, according to CoinMarketCap data, as of the time of writing, BTC (Bitcoin) is currently priced at $91956.68, down 2.09% in the last 24 hours, with a high of $107428.26 and a low of $91214.75. The 24-hour volume reached $948.31 billion. The current market capitalization is approximately $1.83 trillion, a decrease of about $391.82 billion compared to yesterday.
Important news about BTC recently:
1️⃣ MicroStrategy significantly increased its holdings of BTC.
MicroStrategy invested $835.6 million to increase its holdings by 8,178 BTC, with an average purchase price of $102,171. After this increase, the company's total holdings reached 649,870 BTC, with a cumulative investment of approximately $48.37 billion and an average cost of $74,433 per coin. This move shows that institutional investors still maintain a strong willingness to buy at the current price levels.
2️⃣ Bitcoin ETF funds are flowing out more intensively.
Ten Bitcoin ETF products saw a large-scale outflow of funds, with a net outflow of 8,794 BTC (approximately $838 million). Among them, BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF experienced an outflow of 4,880 BTC (approximately $465 million) in a single day. This reflects a cautious sentiment among institutional investors in the short term, which may exert some selling pressure on the market.
3️⃣ Long-term holders are accumulating on a large scale against the trend.
Since October 6, the demand for BTC from long-term holders (diamond hands) has surged from 159,000 to 345,000, setting a record for the largest accumulation in the recent cycle. This unusual accumulation behavior during a downtrend may indicate a strong rebound or further bottoming in the market in the future.
From a technical perspective, the BTC price has fallen below several key support levels and may continue to be under pressure in the short term. However, the continuous entry of institutional investors and the large-scale accumulation by long-term holders may provide strong support for future prices.
