This network introduces core features such as near-instant transaction confirmation, low costs, and infrastructure optimized specifically for stablecoin transactions.

After months of private testing, Tempo is positioning itself as a reliable payment layer for financial institutions requiring fast, stable, and highly scalable processing systems. Built as an Ethereum-compatible Layer 1 blockchain, Tempo is designed to handle high transaction volumes while maintaining stable performance, especially for real-world payment applications.

Currently valued at nearly 5 billion USD thanks to backing from major investment funds, the public testnet demonstrates the system’s efficiency even during peak traffic times. Tempo is collaborating with Mastercard, UBS, Visa, Shopify, OpenAI, and Deutsche Bank, and is preparing to launch Klarna’s stablecoin on the mainnet in 2026.
