OpenAI is partnering with Common Sense Media on AI education and safety initiatives

Speaking at the Common Sense event in San Francisco, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said, "We wanted to figure out how to make this tool safe and responsible for making it widely available to youth and the educators who will be using it. Common Sense Media CEO Jim Steyer said in a statement that the materials developed through the collaboration “will aim to educate families and educators on how to use ChatGPT safely and responsibly so that we can collectively avoid any unintended consequences of this emerging technology.” ”
