Golden Finance reported that Danny Ryan, a researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, announced his departure to end his seven-year contribution to the Ethereum ecosystem. He stated on GitHub that the reason for leaving is personal and to make room for new opportunities, emphasizing that this decision does not reflect any issues with Ethereum or the encryption industry. Ryan played a critical role in key upgrades in the Ethereum network, including the launch of Beacon Chain in 2021 and the implementation of the 'merge' protocol. He has also been actively involved in the progress updates of Ethereum Improvement Proposals. He expressed that although his experience working on the Ethereum network has been invaluable, he is now ready to take a step back and explore new directions.
