Hikvision: There is no large-scale layoffs in the company, which is a result of business strategy adjustment.

On October 11th, Jinshi Data reported that “Hikvision’s large-scale layoffs” topped the search rankings. According to reports, Hikvision employees revealed that the company is undergoing a large-scale organizational adjustment, with 32 research and development areas being reduced to 12, “retaining only a few core areas and optimizing the rest, which is expected to involve more than 1,000 people.” In response to this adjustment, Hikvision stated that there is no large-scale layoff in the company, but rather a business strategy adjustment that requires optimizing the research and development capabilities of the headquarters and key sales cities, thus adjusting some regional positions accordingly.
