Forbes 2025 America's Best Employers: Nvidia crowned champion
Nvidia clinched the top spot on the Forbes “America’s Best Employers” list, with over 60 evaluation criteria covering financial performance, customer and employee satisfaction, sustainable development, remote work policies, and more. This list is not limited to any specific industry. Alphabet, the parent company of Google, ranked second in the technology sector, followed by tax and accounting software company Intuit in third place. Microsoft ranked fifth, while Apple unexpectedly slipped out of the top ten, coming in at eleventh place. Nvidia is also the first semiconductor and electronics company to top the list of America’s best employers. With only 23,358 employees, Nvidia’s value generated by its workforce is astonishing, considering its current market capitalization of $3.48 trillion.
Forbes reported that Nvidia leads in many indicators, especially in employee satisfaction, career development opportunities, company benefits and culture, and solid financial strength, all of which have received high praise. About 2000 listed companies are eligible for the list, with 300 making the cut.
Nvidia employee experience vice president Beau Davidson told Forbes that Nvidia listens to employees’ opinions in a systematic way, including quarterly surveys, CEO Q&A, and virtual suggestion boxes, and then provides benefits such as snacks and coffee based on feedback.
Nvidia also sets two days off every quarter, when the whole company shuts down so that everyone can rest. The company also provides internal training and consultants to help employees plan their future careers.
According to Forbes’ data research company People Data Labs, Nvidia’s employee turnover rate is low, widely seen as a symbol of a happy company.
