Virgin Voyages announced that it will launch a new “Annual Pass” program from 2025, which is said to be the “first cruise product to accept cryptocurrency”. According to a recent blog post, the company will accept BTC as a payment method for its new service, with a standard prepayment cost of $120,000 per cruise, plus taxes. There is currently no indication as to when or if Virgin Voyages will consider expanding its Cryptocurrency payment options. The annual pass provides unlimited cruises on a first-come, first-served basis within one year. The company said the product was conceived after the success of its ‘season pass’ program and targets remote workers. (Cointelegraph)
