Copper withdraws its application for cryptocurrency registration in the UK

Golden Finance reported that Copper Technologies, an encryption custody company based in London, has withdrawn its application for registration with the UK financial regulator and is focusing on overseas markets. This decision was made after the appointment of the new CEO, Amar Kuchinad. Copper will seek licenses or self-regulatory approvals in Switzerland, Hong Kong, and Abu Dhabi. Copper had planned to expand to the United States after Trump’s election, applying for custody or money transmission licenses.
