IMF raises global economic rise expectations, optimistic outlook for the United States

[Bitu] The IMF announced that it expects the global economy to rise by 3.2% and 3.1% in 2025 and 2026, respectively (the July forecast was 3.0% and 3.1%, respectively). It also expects the US economy to rise by 2.0% and 2.1% in 2025 and 2026, respectively (the July forecast was 1.9% and 2.0%, respectively). The positive outlook for the US economy is attributed to lower-than-expected effective tariff rates, fiscal boosts from tax reforms, and a more accommodative financial environment. The overall global inflation rate is expected to decrease from 5.8% in 2024 to 4.2% in 2025 and 3.7% in 2026.
