Recently, I reviewed several mainstream coins that have experienced two bull and bear cycles, and found an interesting commonality among them—

**Key features to watch:**

1️⃣ At the peak of the 2021 bull market, most failed to surpass the all-time high set in 2017. This phenomenon is quite meaningful.

2️⃣ Since then, they have entered a long consolidation phase. Consolidation duration? Nearly 7 years. Sideways digestion, repeated confirmations, this process is a bit torturous.

3️⃣ Looking at a longer timeline, most coins have formed very obvious converging triangles. The range of volatility narrows year by year, and the price space is continuously compressed.

**Taking XRP and ZEC as examples—**

XRP has recently moved to the narrowest part of the triangle pattern, attempting an upward breakout. ZEC’s situation is similar. They both touched the historical resistance zone created in 2017. Although there has been a short-term pullback, their current positions are above the 2021 peak. What does this indicate? At least it shows that the market still has an upward intention.

From the shape and time cycle perspective, this 7-year digestion cycle is nearing its end. Will it break through or fall back again? The market will give the answer. It’s worth continuing to observe the subsequent performance of these established coins.
