【Crypto World】As the world’s largest stablecoin issuer, Tether has recently announced a partnership with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. The two parties will carry out cybersecurity training and digital asset education programs in Africa. This move also reflects a real issue — Africa, as the fastest-growing region for cryptocurrencies worldwide, is also facing increasing fraud risks. According to INTERPOL data, just recently, illegal cryptocurrency and fiat currency transactions worth $260 million have been seized in the region. By enhancing regional users’ security awareness and compliance understanding, stablecoin service providers are also contributing to the healthy development of the market.
