ChainCatcher News: According to Protos, Chainge, a cross-chain DeFi project launched by DJ Qian, the founder of Multichain, has had the problem that some user funds cannot be withdrawn, and the situation has been going on for several months. Much of the feedback focused on the wKAS cross-chain bridge, with officials attributing the problem to a lack of liquidity caused by individual “malicious users”.
Despite the team’s repeated promises to inject liquidity to restore functionality, the issue has not been fully resolved, and the wKAS token has shown significant decoupling. The Chainge front-end service is still open, and the associated risks have drawn market attention.
