Ripple stablecoin RLUSD expands to L2 network, adopting Wormhole's NTT standard

PANews December 15 News, according to the official blog, Ripple announced that its stablecoin RLUSD will be expanded to Layer2 networks for the first time. Ripple will collaborate with cross-chain interoperability protocol Wormhole and NTT token standard to launch tests on Optimism, Base, Ink, and Unichain. Ripple expects to launch RLUSD on more chains after receiving final regulatory approval next year. The rollout of RLUSD on subsequent chains will require testing and approval from the New York Department of Financial Services. It is reported that RLUSD was initially issued only on XRPL and Ethereum.
