** In 2025, Arbitrum changed its expansion to utilisation maturity. There was an increase in user activity, and technical indicators are bullish in the future.**

The development of Arbitrum revealed a paradigm shift in 2025. The network had outgrown the mere metrics of growth, and the performance was driven by user behavior and not the creation of new accounts.

A linear increase in transactions based on active addresses was experienced in early 2025. This trend was evident in cryptoquant data. The early growth of the network was driven by new users.

Transaction Intensity Reached New Heights

There was a shift in the relationship between addresses and transactions in mid-year. The number of transactions continued to increase despite the decline in new addresses. The shift was indicated by per-user engagement metrics.

According to CryptoQuant, the number of transactions per active address grew exponentially. The 7-day rolling metric switched between 5-7 at the beginning of 2025 to continue registering double-digit results, surpassing 15 transactions per address in Q4.

The yearly daily network activity was dominated by returning addresses. Creation of new addresses was fluctuating throughout 2025. Peaks taken in mid-year and late-year had a significant improvement in retention.

Behavioural Patterns Beamed Network Maturation.

The information pointed to the essential shifts in user behaviour. Arbitrum is a DeFi and gaming execution layer. Primary growth is no longer being driven by short-term incentive seekers.

The economic throughput per address increased steadily in 2025. Embedded utility took over speculative onboarding as the growth engine. The network exhibited the attributes of maturation.
