On December 29, PANews reported that in December, the overall Market Cap of Memecoin once dropped by about 30%, indicating a slowdown in the momentum and demand for meme-based Tokens. According to CoinMarketCap data, on December 1, the total Market Cap of memecoins was $1201.4 billion. On December 9, this number rose to $1370.6 billion at one point, then fell to a low of $926.7 billion on December 23. This means that the Market Cap for the month decreased by 32.38%. The current Market Cap is approximately $987.8 billion, a decrease of about 14.61% from the beginning of the month.
