Google CEO: Quantum Computing technology is like AI 10 years ago, truly practical availability will still take 5 to 10 years

Golden Finance reported that Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, said that it will take 5 to 10 years for the Quantum Computer to be “practically available,” and compared this breakthrough technology to artificial intelligence about a decade ago. Pichai, who also serves as the CEO of Google’s parent company, Alphabet Inc., expressed at the World Government Summit in Dubai on Wednesday that the current “quantum moment reminds me of the era of artificial intelligence in the 2010s, when we were working on Google Brain and made initial progress.”
