The hardest part about being into AI is the constant balancing of tinkering and actually being productive.
If you spend more time building workflows than actually working, that's a problem (i've been guilty of this recently too).
Building a new dashboard *feels* productive, but if it takes 10 hours and just gives you a fancier (and less reliable) way to view data - then it's a waste of time.
On the flip side, if you spend 10 hours building something that saves you an hour a week, then it's worth it. In 10 weeks, you break even.
I think we need to start thinking of time-spend on AI in ROI terms

If you’re feeling overwhelmed with AI, don’t stress about having the perfect stack.
You’ll never have one.
Something new drops every week.
The thing that's ACTUALLY worth focusing on is your memory.
Get your context, your files, your prompts into a system you own.
Then you can plug it into whatever model/setup comes next.
Some ideas for memory systems:
1. Obsidian (what I personally use). Use Claude Code to organise
2. Openclaw (can also use with Obsidian) - create a memory database that self-updates
3. Use an extension like Supermemory (purpose-built for this) - been experimenting recently
