Sigh, I always feel like I’ve found something good with Vibe, but just when I start to get it going or even before it fully operates, I realize I can't keep playing. My dual weather model's probabilities and strategies are all working, and the trading module is also complete, but I still feel that going cash is going to lead to losses. Because the BOT is definitely designed to make low profits to increase the win rate, I can currently accept winning five times and losing once manually, but the cost of the bot being manipulated and losing once is too high. It’s really frustrating!

I may not have been scammed, but the weather sector is not a guaranteed profit. I even suspect that someone deliberately posted fake data on Wunder. Today, the maximum temperature in Shenzhen reached 29°C, but I retrieved all the METAR reports (the raw messages from weather stations), and none of them showed temperatures above 27°C. According to the weather station at ZGSZ, 27°C was the winning temperature today! A full two degrees difference! But today, the actual temperature was only 27 degrees.

Today should be another comfortable close to 50U! And I discovered that if I only trade the UTC+8 timezone, it perfectly aligns with the A-share trading schedule. Basically, I start monitoring METAR reports around 9 AM, and by 2-3 PM in the afternoon, things are pretty much settled. It's a shame though—aside from Shanghai, other regions either have poor liquidity or aren't suitable for making predictions.

I'm relying on my own weather model right now, and I can get a cost price between 65-80 every day. While it's not exactly a guaranteed win, at least the odds are heavily in my favor. If I can make 30u a day, that's not bad either. Once the depth picks up, I can manually operate 2-3 trading pairs instead of doing grunt work! Don't believe those claiming to win tens of thousands of dollars using NOAA—I honestly don't know if the people posting this are shills, because I've even seen big KOLs sharing it.

Combined with the fact that major capital was buying S&P 500 and selling oil futures before Trump's speech, it's pure harvesting. In the days ahead, there will be countless contradictory statements to stir up the market. Stay in cash to survive!

Google Sheets is really useful! I was working on a Polymarket weather strategy and constantly had to compare multi-model probabilities in CSV tables against market odds, which felt tedious. I thought about building a dashboard to try it out. I just casually mentioned my requirements to Sheets, and it completed the design in 5 minutes. Now I just need to integrate the APIs with it 😀

Dongcai is also on OpenClaw now. The official team has created a set of skills specifically tailored for Xiaolongxia. All the crawler scripts I made before are no longer needed. Using this as the foundation and adding some auxiliary information channels is more than enough! Got Xiaoxia configured in ten minutes!

Yesterday, after I gave my wife a rundown on how to use OpenClaw, she told me that she feels like if AI continues developing this way, humanity will regress and become incapable of doing anything!
I told her, quite the opposite—the era of agents is when humanity will truly evolve! It's not about whether something is feasible or not, but an age where we can freely unleash the most wild and imaginative ideas from our minds without restraint!
