The real driving force comes from the technical side. The recent hard fork pushed the blob limit to 21, which directly amplified Layer 2's processing capacity, causing transaction fees to drop significantly. L2 ecosystem TVL has already surpassed the $300 billion mark. In other words, Ethereum's advantage as a smart contract platform has been further reinforced.

Institutional activity is also heating up. ETF fund flows are trending stable, with major players continuing to stake massive amounts of ETH. Traditional giants like BlackRock have been more active recently, suggesting they're building confidence.

Looking ahead, the beginning of 2026 will see plenty of new developments—RWA tokenization, restaking protocols, and further upgrade plans (such as Fusaka) will all be pushed toward practical application. Market expectations for ETH are also high, with voices suggesting it could potentially surge into the $4,500-11,000 range.

In the short term, with risk appetite warming up, ETH will likely continue surging upward. Entering at this current position with a bullish outlook is a pretty comfortable timing.
