Accelerating Sustainability with IOTA: Demia’s Cutting-Edge Technology for Environmental Data

The IOTA Foundation has always been a step ahead when it comes to addressing sustainability and other climate change issues. In the past, IOTA has worked with key players such as ClimateCHECK and Dell Technologies to build sustainable solutions and address climate issues.

One such solution is the DigitalMRV that uses IOTA’s distributed ledger technology, which is permissionless, feeless, and energy efficient. It combines a 3D digital representation of the site with digital devices, using IOTA Streams for secure and real-time data connections and uation. All data and information are stored on the IOTA Tangle distributed ledger, ensuring a lightweight and scalable infrastructure that guarantees immutability, transparency, and trust.

Mayy Yarger, the founder of DigitalMRV recently announced that they are now rebranding the project as Demia, and building it into something that’s even bigger. Yarger predicts a future where accessing, securing, and utilizing environmental data is effortless and dependable. Demia is actively working to create a community dedicated to improving the s that handle environmental data. Their goal is to use advanced technology to expedite our journey toward a sustainable future.

Demia will work as a platform for businesses in order to coordinate their environmental reporting. It will onboard project developers, auditors, VVBs, and certifiers. Demia aims to provide a seamless experience for a project to secure the certification along with advanced remote monitoring and reporting.
